New Vice-Chair for the Borealis Alliance

The Borealis Alliance is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Vice-Chair of its Board. Ms Ann Persson Grivas, Director General of LFV, Air Navigation Services of Sweden.
Ms Persson Grivas was appointed as Director General of LFV by the Swedish Government in April 2017 and came from the Swedish Social Security Agency, Försäkringskassan, where she held the position of Assistant Director General; she was previously employed by Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) and has extensive experience in leadership and change management roles. She has been a member of the Borealis Alliance Board since 2017.
On taking up her appointment Ms Persson Grivas said “I am honoured and will do my best to contribute to the work of the Alliance in achieving its objectives. It is an important work containing sustainability of the airspace and the achievement of Single European Sky”
Ms Persson Grivas takes over from Tanel Rautits who has stepped down from his management position with Estonian Air Navigation Service, EANS and will work with the Board Chair, Mr Ásgeir Pálsson, Isavia ANS and the Alliance Executive Management Team in support of the Borealis Alliance Vision; “To be the leading ANSP Alliance that enables its Members to drive better performance for stakeholders through business collaboration”.
The Alliance Board provides overall strategic direction for the Borealis Alliance, Europe’s leading voluntary collaboration of Air Navigation Service Providers.
