The Borealis Alliance, a business-driven Alliance of Air Navigation Service Providers in Europe, has announced the appointment of its new chairman: LFV Director, Olle Sundin. Olle Sundin has been deputy chairman in the Borealis Board and takes over as chairman from Richard Deakin, who is stepping down as CEO of NATS.
Olle Sundin has an extensive and broad experience from the aviation industry coupled with an acute understanding of the challenges facing the aviation industry at large, as well as in air navigation services.
Olle assumed his post as Chairman following the Alliance Board meeting in June.

The Borealis Alliance is an Alliance of Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) that enables its Members to drive better performance for stakeholders through business collaboration.
The Alliance includes the ANSPs of Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, Norway, Sweden and the UK. In 2014, the nine member ANSPs between them controlled more than 3.8 million flights across 12.5 million km2 of North European airspace, representing over 38% of European traffic. Between them, they form Europe's major transatlantic gateway.
