The Borealis Alliance Board met on top of Copenhagen

Friday the 11th of October the Borealis Alliance Board met at the Naviair HQ in Copenhagen.

The main item on the agenda was to discuss and conclude on a new vision for the Borealis Alliance as well as status on projects and activities like Borealis FRA (Free Route Airspace) and CONCERTO as well as the budget, business plan and communication activities.

Furthermore, the Borealis Alliance Board also got an update on news from Brussels, e.g. SES2+ developments, the Draghi Report, RP4 and about the upcoming EASA Flight emissions label. An update on the stakeholder engagement was also given by the Alliance Executive team.

The meeting closed with conclusions, actions and decisions, that all resolved around that the Borealis Alliance is working hard to contribute to the operational and financial performance of the Members’ Air Traffic Services, and the achievement of Single European Sky and ICAO performance targets.

Finally, the Borealis Alliance Board also had a chance to visit the old control tower in Copenhagen. The old tower is now fully functional as contingency control tower for the ATC in Copenhagen.

Thanks to Naviair for hosting the Alliance Board meeting!
